INTERNATIONAL TRANSPORT

We can provide transport from the international Airport 7 days a week. International airport attendance is generally $88.00 during the hours of leaving our facility from 8.30 am and 4.00pm Monday to Friday - allowing a 2 hour window for transit. Additional waiting times for delay in customs are charged by the 1/4 hour. International transports are often scheduled outside normal hours, so can be a little more expensive so if you require a quote just let us know.

Our driver will confirm flight arrival times prior to leaving the facility. It generally takes an hour to clear customs, so we plan our arrival to coincide with that of customs clearance. Please make sure you have nominated Julies Boarding Kennels and Cattery as the collecting agent on the consignment note.

A copy of the vaccination papers can be taped in an envelope to the top of your transport crate or emailed/faxed prior to admission. Generally transport crates are hired (dogs only) and are left at the airport, and we will provide crates from there, so if you own your crates let us know as we will have to allow for them in transit. Cats must be transported in their own crates.

FOR UNACCOMPANIED PETS

We will attend and collect your pet, pay the customs duty on your behalf for your convenience, and transport back to our facility. Our driver will also give you a courtesy call to let you know that your pets have arrived safely, if you are able to be contacted.

FOR ACCOMPANIED PETS

You do not need to attend the freight terminal unless you wish to. We can attend on your behalf and arrange collection just as for animals travelling unaccompanied.

If you would like to make sure that your pets have arrived safely or meet our duty driver of course you are welcome to. Should your pets be processed through customs more quickly and it seems as though we have forgotten you don’t worry! Our drivers won’t be far away and can be contacted on a transport duty mobile number to liaise as to meeting and expected time of arrival. It is not necessary to wait for the driver although you of course are welcome to. Our drivers generally arrive an hour after the flight has confirmed as landed.If you do wish to attend, should there be a delay in your arrival causing our driver to wait for you it may cause additional charges in driver attendance times.
